BOSTON, MA – Many will never forget the tragedy of the April 2013 Boston Marathon bombings, nor the two Tsarnaev brothers accused of being responsible – Tamerlan and Dzokhar.

The younger brother, Dzokhar Tsarnaev, is in jail awaiting trial. Investigators found a note suspected to be written by Dzokhar, before he was captured, while hiding inside a boat in someone’s backyard in Watertown, Massachusetts.

Only excerpts of the note have been released. One part reads:

“God has a plan for each person. Mine was to hide in this boat and shed some light on our actions.”

Prosecutors say Dzokhar wishes he was dead like his older brother, Tamerlan who was killed in a shoot out by cops shortly after the bombings claiming he got to go to the “garden of paradise.”

For now, hell on earth will have to do for Dzokhar. A little advice for little brother; be careful what you wish for. You might just get it.

callREPUBLIC OF DAGESTAN – Remember when E.T. wanted to phone home? Well, in this case, it’s D.T,  phone home. As in Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the surviving sibling suspected in the deadly Boston Marathon bombings.

Last week, Dzhokhar called his parents over in Dagestan from his jail cell in Massachusetts. His mother wanted to know if the person believed responsible for murder and serious injury was in pain.

“Of course not,’ he answered. ‘I’m already eating and have been for a long time. They are giving me rice and chicken now. Everything’s fine.”

His mother said she was surprised by how calm her son sounded on the phone, “I felt like he would scream you know like what’s going on, what’s going on, he would ask the world what’s going on but mama, instead he was just calming me down, you know what I mean?’

While Dzhokhar was in a boat hiding from cops, he wrote a note saying he and his brother were the Boston bombers.

His parents don’t believe it, his mother still saying the older Tamerlan was a good Muslim and a positive influence on his little brother, who ran over him while running from police.

bombBOSTON, MA – Back in the day, sailors used bottles to send messages of distress, or last words, hoping someone would find them.

The surviving Brother Tsarnaev seems to have used a boat as the ‘vehicle’ for what he thought would be his last message.

Investigators are now leaking the story that Dzhokhar Tsnaraev used a pen to scribble a note on the inside of the boat where he was hiding and later caught.

They say the bullet-riddled message claimed the Boston Marathon bombings that killed three and wounded 275 were payback, retaliation for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

He apparently wrote that ‘when you attack one Muslim, you attack all Muslims’.

Investigators also say he wrote that he would not miss his older brother Tamerlan who died from bullet wounds and probably from being run over by the younger brother, adding that the brothers would soon join up in Paradise.

There are probably a lot of people in and around Boston who hope their reunion is sooner rather than later.

WASHINGTON, DC – From a terror plot to a cemetery plot, Boston marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev is finally entombed.

His body was claimed from a Worcester, Massachusetts funeral home before midnight Wednesday and buried outside of the city though authorities aren’t saying where.

Also cloaked in secrecy: who buried him. Police aren’t telling us that, either. All they’ll say is it was a “courageous and compassionate individual.” Well, that’s one way to describe them, though there are certainly many in the Boston area who wouldn’t feel the same. Even Tamerlan’s mother doesn’t know where he’s buried.

While the issue of Tamerlan’s body has been laid to rest, officials are trying to dig up more answers in Washington, D.C. regarding the continuing investigation.

U.S. Representative Michael McCaul from Texas says the attack was al Qaeda inspired, “…the radical videos proclaiming the caliphate that he posted when he returned and the types of bombs that he and his younger brother used all signal an al Qaeda inspired terrorist attack.”

What’s more, officials say the Tsarnaev brothers were on the Joint Terrorism Task Forces’ radar, but that information was not relayed to local law enforcement.

“The idea that the feds have this information and it’s not shared with the state and locals defies why we created the Department of Homeland security in the first place.”

Pointing fingers? Is this really the time?

arrestBOSTON, MA – Two classmates of the surviving Boston Marathon Bombing suspect have some explaining to do. Azamat Tazhayakov and Dias Kadyrbayev, both 19, are students from Kazakhstan, arrested this morning for removing fireworks and a laptop from Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth dorm room after the April 15 bombing.

Authorities searched a landfill near U-Mass-Dartmouth campus last week, looking for the fireworks and laptop.

On April 20, five days after the bombings, federal agents questioned the two students at an apartment in New Bedford, Mass.  Authorities did not have enough evidence at the time to charge them with a crime, instead, keeping them in custody on immigration charges.

Boston police tweeted the news of their arrests, adding there was no threat to the public. 19-year-old Robel Phillipos, who is a U.S. citizen, is the third person arrested. Feds charged him with lying to investigators.

They charged the Kazhak students with conspiring to obstruct justice.

Meantime, we are hearing more from that 26-year-old Chinese immigrant who says the brothers Tsarnaev kidnapped him at gunpoint, loaded bombs into his Mercedes SUV. He figured they wanted him to drive. He says he got away when they stopped to fill up for the trip.

He ran to a different gas station and asked the clerk to call 911. Cops used the GPS on the cell phone he left behind to track down the brothers. Now, he’s alive to tell the tale of his trip on the trail of terror.

bombBOSTON, MA – The investigation into the Boston Marathon bombings has moved into the lab, where crime scene investigators say a scintilla of a woman turned up on one of the bombs.

Was it a fingerprint?

But investigators quickly pointed out the DNA could have come from a female who touched the pressure cooker in a store, or from a woman who helped make the bomb.

Karima Tsarnaev, also known as Katherine Russell Tsarnaev, is the widow of bombing suspect number one, Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

On Monday, FBI agents visited her Rhode Island home and apparently took a DNA sample. But sources say that even if it is a match, that does not prove she helped make the bombs.

And now reports say investigators have another thread to follow, and this one leads to Canada, and to this guy, Canadian boxer turned terrorist William Plotnikov. Yes, a terrorist named Plotnikov.

That’s because Badenov was already taken.

A Russian newspaper is quoting Russian law enforcement sources who say Russian special forces killed Plotnikov and seven other suspected terrorists in Dagestan in July of last year. That was during time Tamerlan Tsarnaev was in the region.

Investigators cannot say for sure if the two ever met face-to-face, but besides being boxers, investigators say the two communicated with each other on a web site connected with the World Assembly of Muslim Youth, which is associated with the United Nations.

Pretty soon, these common threads will weave some answers about who, or what, was behind that deadly day in Boston.

BOSTON, MA – The lone surviving suspect of the Boston Marathon bombings is making some new friends. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is now in the federal detention medical center in Devens, Mass.

Doctors at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston said his condition improved enough for the transfer to the facility that treats white-collar criminals, mobsters, and child molesters.

So while the remaining brother Tsarnaev gets to know his new friends, some other folks on Facebook have friended his cause.

The ‘Dzhokhart Tsarnaev is Innocent’ Facebook group has more than 20,000 members.

And, yes, Dzhokhart groupies have even found a home on Twitter at #freejahar.

You can find conspiracy tweets, pictures of your favorite Dzhokart bling, and, wait for it; you knew it was coming, tweets about his looks.

All together now: O-M-G!

NEW YORK, NY – Investigators say a remote control device set off at least one of the homemade Boston Marathon bombs. But they do not know if the bombers based their devices on a blueprint in al Qaeda’s English language magazine “Inspire”, or if Tamerlan Tsarnaev learned it in a camp run by Dagestani militant Abu Dujan.

Russian Special Forces killed Dujan last December, and there is no evidence Tsarnaev and Dujan ever met.

But Dagestani police say Dujan ran training camps where foreigners learned how to make bombs, and that a video released by Dagestani police purports to show some of that training, including how to mix and prepare home-made explosives.

And photos suggest they learned to use a mobile phone as a detonator.

Investigators are also saying that the surviving brother was not armed when captured in a boat last Friday.

Earlier reports said Dzhokar and his dead brother Tamerlan were in a shootout hours earlier. And some reports said Dzhokar’s wounds were self-inflicted. But it’s hard to shoot yourself if you don’t have a gun.

Meanwhile mother Tsarnaev is blaming America for the death of one son and for failing to protect her family.

It seems there is a lot of regret and grief to go around.

BOSTON, MA – It’s a new day in Boston as Boyle Street opened for the first time since the April 15 Boston Marathon bombings. Orange cones still mark the site of the first deadly blast where crews work to fix the sidewalk.

It also brought Vice President Joe Biden to town for the memorial services for Sean Collier, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology officer killed as he sat in his car.

The new day brings new information about the Brothers Tsarnaev, particularly about 26-year-old Tamerlan who died after a raging gunfight with police.

Reports say Tamerlan was on the National Counter-Terrorism Center’s highly classified database of potential terrorists.

That list is known as TIDE, the ‘Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment’ list. As of 2008, it contained names of more than 400,000 potential terrorists around the world.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev made the list after the Russians tipped off the FBI in 2011 that he had may have been a follower of radical Islamists.

There is also a report that Tamerlan Tsarnaev and his wife and child received welfare benefits from the state of Massachusetts.

A spokesperson for the Massachusetts Department of Health and Human Services says those benefits ended last year. But, apparently this was not the first time Massachusetts taxpayers helped support the Tsarnaev family.

Records show the entire family, the parents and the brothers, received some level of public assistance when the brothers were younger.

And in yet another irony, no one has come forward to claim the body of Tamerlan Tsarnaev. The most wanted man in America just a few days ago, now lies unwanted in the city morgue.
