Translated, the doc is saying we are lazy. Doctors included!
Rather than take the time to find the source of a problem, some docs find it easier to prescribe a pill.
“These days, you can click on a computer or an iPhone and you can even e-prescribe.”
Antibiotics top the list of medications, followed by antidepressants and then painkillers.
Sadly many Americans agree, but there are serious risks, including addiction or resistance to drugs.
Dr. Higgins recommends, “Go for a walk, get on the treadmill at the gym, and go out there, swim walk, get out there at least 30 minutes, 5 to 6 days a week of moderate exercise and you will use less medications I guarantee you.”
