CHICAGO, IL – When you strike it big and win the lottery you`re likely to make a few new friends and a few new enemies.

Last July, Urooj Khan bough a scratch off ticket in Illinois and won. The state gave him a check for $425,000, but it wasn`t long before the lottery curse struck again. He was found dead and speculation swirled as to how the lucky lotto winner got so unlucky.

A medical examiner says they found cyanide in his system. However, when they exhumed his body, it was so badly decomposed they couldn`t tell how it got into his system.

The case is still being treated as a homicide.
