Maricopa County mails Spanish voters wrong voting date

MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ – A breakdown of communication can be a real pain. So to avoid that from happening, a Spanish translation of the voting rules was attached to updated voter registration cards in Arizona. Only problem was, the most important piece of info was wrong!

The official government document told Spanish voters to show up and cast their votes on November 8TH. Talk about showing up fashionable late!

The big election day is of course on November 6th, not the 8th. The Maricopa County Department of Elections called it an honest mistake that was actually only seen by 50 people.

Others are wondering if this was an attempt to keep people from casting their votes. Let’s just hope this was a typo and not a conspiracy.
